8:00 am Meeting at St. Petersburg passenger sea port near the Immigration control and introducing your guide to you.
8:00 - 10:00 am – City overview tour.
This tour will give you an idea of St. Petersburg’s main attractions located in its historic central part. In your van you will travel down the city’s most famous street Nevsky Prospect, its main thoroughfare, past the most recognizable buildings like the Winter Palace, the former royal palace now housing the Hermitage Museum which is situated in the heart of St. Petersburg – Palace Square, past the churches known all over the world like St. Isaac’s Cathedral and the Savior on the Spilled Blood Church, you will see legendary monuments like the Bronze Horseman monument and legendary places like the Spit of Vasilievsky Island with its stunning view over the river and the city. You will drive down St. Petersburg’s elegant granite embankments and go over its numerous rivers and canals. If you feel like taking photos your van will make stops for picture taking.

10:00 - 11:00 pm Transfer to Peterhof.
11:00 – 12:30 The royal summer residence of Peterhof or Petrodvorets, stretches out along the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Its construction was inspired by the gardens and parks of Versailles greatly admired by Peter I. He wanted to have his own Versailles near St. Petersburg. Moreover, he wanted to have a residence near the sea which he was very fond of. This place is very often called the Russian Versailles. Walking across the gardens you will enjoy the view of straight avenues, trimmed trees, shrubs, numerous sculptures of the early 18th century and of course, fountains. The total number of the fountains in the park is over 150. The fountains work the whole day from morning till evening without stops due to the unique water supply system offered by Peter I. This residence was also devised to be a kind monument to Russia’s glorious victory over Sweden in the Northern war which lasted 21 years. It gave Russia access to the sea and made it a powerful sea country.

1:00 - 2:00 pm Transfer to Tsarskoe Selo (visit of Palace with Amber room and Park).
2:00 - 4:00 pm The lavish summer residence of the Russian imperial family at Tsarskoe Selo ( now the town of Pushkin) is located only about 25 km from the city. Set up by Peter I in 1710 on the former Swedish land it became the main summer home of the Romanovs in the following 200 years. Dominating the grounds is the beautiful palace named after Peter I’s wife Catherine I. Catherine’s palace owes its stunning appearance to Peter I’s daughter Empress Elizabeth, who decided to make a major reconstruction of her father’s palace in 1750s inviting a great master of Baroque the architect Rastrelli. During your palace tour you will see beautiful interiors showing the trends of different epochs and reflecting the tastes of their owners. And of course, you will visit the legendary Amber Room. Being through with the palace tour you will be able to have a stroll around the magnificent park originally laid out by French gardeners invited by Peter I.
5:00 Returning to the port
8:00 am Meeting at the port.
8:00 - 11:30 am – Driving to the city center, Visit of Isaak Cathedral or Savior on the Spilled Blood Church.
11:50-12:50 Visit of Usupovskiy Palace.
1:00 - 2:00 pm – lunch in a café or restaurant near the Hermitage.
2:30 - 4:30 pm A guided tour of the Hermitage museum. Your guide will take you around the biggest art museum of Russia now numbering 3 million exhibits ranking with such world famous museums as the Louvre, the British Museum and the Prado. Its collection is diverse and spans a very big period of time from the Pre-historic times up to the 21st century giving an opportunity to trace the development of the world art and culture. Having started with a small private painting collection of Catherine II, it grew into one of the world’s largest museums. During this two-hour tour your guide will show you the gems of the museum collection among which are the works by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Rembrandt, Michelangelo.
5:00 pm Returning to the port
