Russia joined to the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
According to the vote results, the Russian Federation will represent Europe in the highest steering committee of UNWTO in the period from 2017 to 2021.
According to market participants, Russia's accession to the UNWTO's governing council will help increase the incoming tourist flow.
