At the 18th of February in the Peter and Paul Fortress will be Carnival festivities.
In the program: theatrical festivities, a concert, a fair of masters, children's master classes, sports, a fire show and even a performance of specialized tame animals.
The Carnival festivities take place on Zayachiy Island on the coast of Kronversky strait.
All participants of the holiday will be able to ride from the ice hill, conquer the Carnival column, fight with sacks on the log and try your luck in the lottery.
Russian amusements, funny songs and round dances, a large fair of folk crafts, contests, master classes and, of course, delicious hot pancakes are waiting for Petersburgers and guests of the city!
The culmination of the holiday will be the burning of the Carnival`s scarecrow.
