The name of Dostoevsky is inseparably related to  our town - St. Petersburg. It is the city  writer lived most of his life. Here were created his masterpieces such as "White Nights", "Crime and Punishment" and "The Idiot". The tour tells us about the life and work of the writer.  We can see the house where the protagonist of the novel "Crime and Punishment" Raskolnikov lived; then we walk to the house of the old usurer by the same road Raskolnikov went through in the novel. Then we enter the Church of Saint Vladimir and the Kuznechny market.

After we go the house, there Dostoevsky lived here until the day of his death - January 28, 1881.

In 1971 the house opened its doors as the writer's literary memorial museum.
